Let there be light.

While I was extremely hesitant to renovate the site, I'm slowly starting to realize that I made the right choice.  I got home at about one this morning, and aside from the two hour nap I took at six and the hour I was in class, I've been working on the site nonstop.

I managed to slice apart the music player and make it fit with the new design.  I pushed and shoved until I got the register/login system working the way I wanted to.  You can post comments without registering but if you register you get the ability to use avatars (HOLY FUCK AVATARS) and are eligible to get weird little privileges around the site.

I've also started transferring the art over from the old site.  I really like the way new galleries are laid out and I hope you do too.  I'll be doing the writing section last, because I haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to do it with the new software.  It'll get done though.  I swear.

I have shit ton of homework this weekend, but I imagine by Monday or Tuesday we should be running at full steam.
